The very first event I ever planned was a prom. I was a junior in high school and served on the prom committee. There was no "Stumps" catalog to order from so we built everything out of chicken wire and tissue paper. Thank goodness times have changed!!! We have worked with River Valley High School's prom commitee for several years. They have done tented events at the French Art Colony, " A Night At the Oscars" at the Ariel Theatre, and "A Night to Treasure" at the University of Rio Grande. All you really need is a theme and an open space to act as the blank canvas for the vision.
